Introduction

The Temporary Advisory Council of the Zuid-Afrikaanche Boer Republics (ZABR) was elected by the ZAB to facilitate the establishment of the People's Council and Executive Council, as authorized by the ZAB Declaration of Independence of "100 Men" (12 July 2025). The ZABR functions as a historically cultural and administrative body that restores the historical rights of the Boervolk, represented by the ZAB, and protects their cultural, linguistic, and historical identity, in accordance with the principles of self-determination under international law, such as the UN Declaration on Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP, 2007). This declaration formalises the Advisory Council's mandate, which is reflected in the Declaration, and reaffirms its role as a temporary body to peacefully promote the historically cultural sovereignty of the Zuid-Afrikaanche Boervolk.

Mandate

The Temporary Advisory Council 's mandate stems directly from the ZAB Declaration of Independence of "100 Men", signed by authorized fellows. The mandate includes the following:

Facilitate the Volksraad: Organise the establishment of a permanent Volksraad through community participation and the ZABR Volksregister, to strengthen the ZAB's cultural and administrative representation.

Management Administration: Overseeing the Population Register and Record), restoration of status process (emancipation) and the ZABR's cultural and administrative activities, including the documentation of the Boer people's heritage.

Promote Sovereignty: Represent the ZAB in local and international forums, including notifications to the RSA, UN, and AU, to promulgate historically cultural and territorial indigenous international law.

Protect Culture: Preserve the Boervolk's cultural heritage and historical international law (Sand River Convention 1852, Bloemfontein Convention 1854), while rejecting the invalid annexation of 1902.

Cultural and Administrative Role

The ZABR and its Temporary Advisory Council act as a cultural and administrative body focused on the preservation of the Boerolk's identity, language, and historical rights. It is not a parallel government that challenges the territorial integrity of any state, but a peaceful entity that pursues self-determination as per the Treaty of Association and in line with international law and the white flag process of the Declaration. The Advisory Council's activities are in accordance with the Declaration, which provides for the temporary role of the Advisory Council until the permanent People's Council is constituted.

Election and powers

Election: The Advisory Council was elected on 24 August 2025 by temporary leaders by vote at an official meeting, in accordance with the Declaration.

Powers: The Advisory Council has temporary powers, as outlined in the Declaration, to develop cultural and administrative policies, manage the Population Register, and coordinate diplomatic relations until the Volksraad is established.

Transition: The Advisory Council will dissolve as soon as the Plebiscite is formally established.

Peaceful Intentions

In line with the white flag process of the Declaration, the Advisory Council acts peacefully to promote the ZAB's self-determination, without confrontation with the RSA or other states. All activities are aimed at cultural preservation and the restoration of historical rights through legal and diplomatic channels.


Foundation Charter & Framework

Introduction

The Temporary Advisory Council (TAC) serves as a provisional advisory and management structure for the Zuid-Afrikaanche Boer Republics, which functions in a digital environment until a formal People's Council is established.

The TAC ensures continuity, representation, and orderly preparation for the full establishment of self-governance.

On 24 August 2025, the Temporary Advisory Councilof the ZABR was established.

Objectives of the TAC

Provide provisional leadership and direction.

Protect the culture, language and heritage of the Boervolk.

Manage communication and information in a transparent manner.

Facilitate legal and peaceful coordination of communities.

Prepare the foundation for the formal Volksraad.

To establish a House (People) for our Almighty Father.

Structure & Role

The following roles ensure balance and accountability in the TAC:

Chairman of the TAC – Leads the council's meetings, keeps order and ensures that the decisions are in line with the independence mandate.

Vice-Chairman – Support the Chairperson, act in absence.

Secretary-General – Keeps minutes, administration, and archives decisions.

Treasurer (Finance) – Overseeing financial affairs, donations, and funds.

Legal Advisor / Legal Coordinator – Oversees legal matters, natural law, and general legal principles.

Communication & Information – Connect with the people, arrange publications and notifications.

Culture & Heritage – Protect the culture, language and traditions of the Boer people.

Home Affairs – Coordinates folk certificates, registrations and community affairs.

Peacekeeping Force Coordinator – Focuses on order, security, and community protection.

Youth & Future Generation – Represent young people and build future leadership.

General Representatives – Fellows who act as advisors and supporters.

 
The ZABR is a cultural administrative body and its initiatives are focused on the preservation of Boer heritage, in accordance with South African laws.
